"When we say week to week, it's because it's longer than day to day," Darche explained. "But it's not month to month, either. I would suspect two to three weeks at the most. There's no surgery needed. There's no anything. It's just healing an old injury."
"Knies, Matthews and Roy all practiced today," Berube said. "Looked good, they finished practice, but still gotta see about tomorrow. So that's where they're at, but it was good that they were out there and finished practice, went through all the drills."
It's a big week, as you said, but at the end of this week, then we have Leeds away, Bournemouth away, Atalanta away, so it's another big one. It's always a big week, they are all important games, at the end of every game is three points, for sure there are games like Barcelona tomorrow and Arsenal Sunday that are important for different reasons, but actually the best thing for us is to win the game.
Though the game started out poorly for Bayern who conceded twice within the first twenty minutes from set-pieces, they salvaged it by starting a scoring fest at the 22nd. The first goal, courtesy of Lennart Karl was phenomenal - a lethal shot assisted by Michael Olise. Karl returned the favor at half-time - an assist to Olise's goal. To say that Karl was everywhere tonight would be an understatement.
"Right now it does not look good," sources told Diario Sport, highlighting the uncertainty surrounding Farré's availability. The Martorell-born defender had recently returned from a right ankle injury that sidelined him at the start of the season, making this development especially concerning. Farré had been included in Hansi Flick's senior squad training sessions in recent weeks, filling in amid a string of injuries that have affected both established first-team players and young talents from La Masia.
CLEVELAND -- Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo left in the second quarter of Monday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers with a left groin strain. Antetokounmpo began favoring his groin and hobbled up the court on defense before committing a foul and heading toward the Bucks' locker room with 3:03 remaining in the second quarter.

Benjamin Sesko will miss Slovenia's games against Kosovo and Sweden owing to the knee injury sustained at Tottenham, but Manchester United are hopeful that he may be available for Everton's visit after the international break. The striker was forced off on 87 minutes of the 2-2 draw with Spurs on Saturday after being introduced on 58 minutes for Noussair Mazraoui. Ruben Amorim admitted concern and Sesko has withdrawn from the Slovenia squad.
The winger has been superb since making the move from Marseille in summer 2024, racking up 15 goals in 49 appearances for a side that was struggling on and off the pitch through most of his early days at the club. Things have been rather more steady since the club was finally taken over and David Moyes returned as manager last season, and Ndiaye remains Everton's star player alongside summer loan signing Jack Grealish.
Mohammed Kudus was absent from Tottenham's victory over FC Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday night. Thomas Frank's side got on just fine in Kudus' absence, of course, with goals from Brennan Johnson, Wilson Odobert, Micky van de Ven and Joao Palhinha providing a 4-0 victory - in spite of Johnson being dismissed at 2-0. But Kudus could now face a battle to be fit as Spurs take on Manchester United on Saturday lunchtime.
We don't think it is a serious injury but we are getting him scanned and waiting on the result. I think there is every chance he might miss our game on Sunday but we will give him every opportunity to be fit. I feel relaxed about him being with England. It will all be done with England's blessing in terms of whether he is fit or not fit. We will work together to find the best solutions for Anthony.
Carbery didn't provide much else, other than saying the team didn't know whether Dubois would need surgery to repair his lower-body ailment. The club's bench boss was asked a follow-up question on Tuesday about whether the Capitals believed Dubois would not return for another game during the 2025-26 campaign. "No, we do not think it's going to be season-ending," Carbery said. "Just an extended period of time at this point. No update on him."
Later, PSG coach Luis Enrique would confirm that Dembélé was good to play. "I don't take any risks with any player. But Ousmane is fit; he's completed all training sessions in the last two weeks and participated in the last two matches," said Enrique (as captured by Tz). "He's improved his fitness and will of course play tomorrow. Tomorrow we'll decide how long he'll play."
The collision occurred in the third period of the Maple Leafs' 5-2 win over the Flyers on Saturday night. It appeared to be a relatively harmless play at first, but it quickly became evident that Tanev would need assistance getting off the ice. There was also a little extra caution involved given the fact that it was Tanev's first game back following a similar injury a couple of weeks ago, when he took a shoulder to the jaw from New Jersey Devils forward Dawson Mercer.
Bichette, 27, only pinch hit in Game 2 after starting Game 1 at second, but Schneider indicated the former All-Star is ready to go as the series shifts to Los Angeles for Games 3, 4 and 5. "Expecting him to be in there," Schneider said on Sunday. "He's out here working out. Felt good coming out of yesterday [Game 2]. I think with each day that goes on, he'll probably get as close to normal as he can at this stage of the year."
When the Capitals come up against the Islanders, they could do so again without number-one center Dylan Strome. The 28-year-old pivot, who didn't travel with the club to play the Stars, returned for the start of practice on Thursday in a light blue, no-contact jersey. However, after completing line rushes, Strome swapped out the blue for his regular red practice sweater to participate in power-play drills.
Oklahoma City Thunder All-NBA wing Jalen Williams underwent a follow-up procedure on his surgically repaired right wrist to remove a screw that was creating irritation during the final stages of his return-to-play process, the team announced Friday. He will be reevaluated in 10 to 14 days. The procedure was performed by Dr. Steven Shin at Cedars-Sinai Health in Los Angeles with Thunder medical personnel present.
