Dodgers relief pitcher remains in organization after clearing waivers
Briefly

Nick Ramirez cleared waivers and was sent outright to the Triple-A Oklahoma City Baseball Club. The Los Angeles Dodgers designated him for assignment on July 30 to make room on their 40-man roster for trade deadline acquisitions.
Because Ramirez was previously outrighted in his career, he had the right to elect free agency instead of accepting the assignment to OKC.
