Castleton found success in the G League, averaging 18.7 points, shooting 60.1% from the field, with 11.3 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 3.6 assists per game. While not featured much by the Lakers last season, he's viewed as a useful piece for the team.
Even though there might be interest from other teams, it's likely Castleton will return to the Lakers with the two-way offer. His potential contribution to the G League team, along with being insurance for the NBA squad, makes him a valuable asset to retain.
