Coalition of right-wing groups call on CIF to follow Trump's executive order banning trans athletes
Briefly

At a recent meeting, the California Interscholastic Federation Council heard calls for policy changes regarding transgender athletes amidst pressures from the Trump administration's new executive orders. Despite these orders, the CIF remains committed to inclusion, aiming to judge participation based on individuals' gender identities in accordance with state law. Advocates, including students and parents, argue for the protection of girls' sports and propose alternative solutions like open categories to prevent exclusion, while trans leaders express concern about the national dialogue impacting the trans community's wellbeing.
I'm here on behalf of every female and their families with common sense that say we are not okay with this and demand that you comply with the executive order that was signed by our president to ban biological males from all female sports.
The CIF provides students with the opportunity to belong, connect, and compete in education-based experiences with California law.
We don't want anyone to be excluded, so how about you make an open category? Start protecting our girls immediately.
This is exclusion and national rhetoric on this topic has left the trans community feeling a strong sense of dread.
