Someone tried to take a firearm from a deputy at Saratoga Library
"Resisting/Delaying a Peace Officer, Attempt to Remove Firearm: Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Saratoga Library on Saratoga Avenue where someone hit two staff members. The suspect left the scene on a bicycle but was later located. Deputies observed the suspect commit a traffic violation and then stopped them. They investigated and found the suspect had an outstanding warrant. The suspect resisted deputies and attempted to remove a firearm from a deputy's holster. Deputies arrested and booked the suspect into the main jail."

The weapon was surrendered, and the suspect was transported to a sobering station. The case is being submitted to the District Attorney's Office for review."

Investigation revealed an outstanding warrant; the suspect resisted and attempted to remove a deputy's firearm from its holster. Deputies arrested and booked the suspect into the main jail. On Nov. 21 deputies contacted a suspicious person at El Quito Park on Paseo Presada and found the individual under the influence and in possession of a shuriken; the weapon was surrendered and the individual taken to a sobering station with the case forwarded to the District Attorney. On Nov. 22 deputies found a vehicle off the roadway at Congress Springs Road and Pierce Road and determined it had been stolen from San Jose.
