Kyle Clifford, 26, has denied murdering Carol Hunt and her two daughters, claiming not guilty to charges including possession of offensive weapons and false imprisonment.
The tragic incident occurred on July 9 in Bushey, Hertfordshire, where Carol Hunt, aged 61, was stabbed and her daughters, aged 28 and 25, were killed with a crossbow.
An inquest revealed that Carol Hunt died from stab wounds, while both her daughters suffered fatal injuries from crossbow bolts, highlighting the brutal nature of the attack.
The provisional trial date for Kyle Clifford is set for March 3, as he faces serious charges including a new count of rape, for which he is currently not required to enter a plea.
