David Carrick, a former Met Police officer, has denied charges including two counts of rape and five counts of indecent assault spanning several years, challenging the allegations.
Appearing via video link at the Old Bailey, Carrick entered a not guilty plea to a series of serious sex offences against a woman and a girl under 16.
The charges alleged against Carrick include coercive and controlling behaviour towards a woman in Hertfordshire, raising important issues about accountability within law enforcement.
The trial is slated for November 2025, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 2025, highlighting the lengthy legal process surrounding such serious allegations.
