Firefighters tackle huge north London blaze as 500 tonnes of waste engulfed in flames

Dozens of firefighters are battling a major fire at a waste recycling centre in north London, with around 500 tonnes of mixed waste alight.

Residents in the area advised to keep doors and windows shut due to the heavy smoke produced, as firefighters use a 32-metre ladder and drone team.
