"But the most exciting part is probably the food counters. The new spot has a counter dedicated entirely to rotisserie chicken, serving hot chicken that's either butter basted or barbecued. Then there is a pizza bar serving hand-stretched sourdough bases to be either cooked in store at home. For pudding the food hall has got a coffee shop and bakery selling sandwiches, wraps, cakes and pastries."
"If you're feeling thirsty, the new M&S food hall has a dedicated wine and booze area, with a cocktail wall selling M&S's popular pre-mixed drinks. The new shopping destination also has a British gifting corner, selling everything from Scottish shortbread to Devonshire toffees in packaging splashed with Union Jacks."
M&S has opened a revamped food hall on the ground floor of the M&S Pantheon at 173 Oxford Street. Inside the 19.4-square-foot space customers can shop for Percy Pigs, Colin the Caterpillar, viral chunked n' loaded cookies and other M&S favourites. The food counters include a dedicated rotisserie chicken counter offering butter‑basted or barbecued chicken and a pizza bar serving hand‑stretched sourdough bases to be cooked in store or taken home. A coffee shop and bakery sell sandwiches, wraps, cakes and pastries. A dedicated wine and booze area features a cocktail wall of pre-mixed drinks and a British gifting corner offers shortbread and toffees. The Pantheon is one of 11 London stores receiving makeovers this year, while six new London locations are planned, including an airside supermarket at Heathrow and a 12,000-square-foot store in Leytonstone. Opening hours are 8am–9pm Monday–Saturday and midday–6pm Sunday.
