Detective Constable Chris Collins stated, 'Raja heartlessly stole banking information from individuals and businesses. He would obtain the trust of his victims by tricking them into thinking he was there to help.'
The dedicated police unit seized 117 handsets containing sensitive banking information and found $62,000 in a crypto wallet, revealing the extent of Raja's theft.
At Inner London Crown Court, Raja was jailed for five years after admitting to fraud and possessing criminal property, highlighting the serious consequences of such scams.
