London's West End to be transformed into 'cosmic playground' with art installations
Briefly

Art of London’s 'Art After Dark' program returns from March 6 to March 8, led by eco-feminist artist Dr. Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stepanian. The theme, 'Piccadilly Un:Plugged,' aims to connect the public with cosmic explorations, highlighted by the display of moon rocks and UV-reactive sculptures. Advanced technology will facilitate Earth-Moon communications, with audio from the moon broadcast in Piccadilly Circus. Participants can use telescopes to view celestial bodies with guidance from scientists, while workshops will create space-themed art displayed locally, enriching the cultural landscape with an astronomical focus.
The event, lasting from March 6 to March 8, will be orchestrated by eco-feminist artist Dr Nelly Ben Hayoun-Stepanian, the founder of NASA's International Space Orchestra.
This immersive experience features giant inflatable sculptures and interstellar technology, transforming London into a portal to explore the cosmos during galaxy season.
