Milestone reached in Stratford student blocks build
Briefly

A milestone in constructing three new student accommodation blocks in Stratford has been reached, with the buildings now 'topped out'. These 70ft high structures will provide 400 living spaces, including en suite bedsits and self-contained studios, addressing the significant demand for housing in the region. Located near major educational institutions, this initiative is a collaboration between Watkin Jones and Homes England to alleviate the shortage of student housing, supported by funding from Lloyds Banking Group. It aims to create sustainable living environments conducive to student life.
This is sustainable student accommodation in an area where it's desperately needed. Stratford is a thriving area for students.
The scheme is aimed at tackling the shortage of student accommodation in east London in a joint housing growth partnership venture with Homes England.
