A person has died after being hit by a train at a busy station in central London. The incident happened at Bank Tube station just before 12.10pm yesterday (July 21). An ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and members of the Hazardous Area Response Team from the London Ambulance Service attended.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: 'We were called at 12.07pm on (July 21) to reports of a person hit by a train at Bank Tube station, Central London. We sent a number of resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team. We also dispatched London's Air Ambulance. Sadly, a person died at the scene.'
