A person was left with "life-threatening" injuries after being hit by a train at Romford Station this afternoon. Emergency services were scrambled to the station just after 1pm today following reports of a "casualty on the tracks".
Minor disruptions continued to affect the line until 6pm. Romford Station was closed and buses along South Street were diverted following the incident - although all services have now returned to normal.
