Proposal to turn car park into student halls among latest planning applications

Camden Council has received 61 new planning applications, including a proposal to convert Britannia Street car park into student accommodation aimed at supporting local higher education institutes. The project, submitted by Knight Frank for Curlew Capital, is designed by Sheppard Robson and will include community space. Other applications include new lighting for Camden Town Hall and a digital bus shelter outside The Roundhouse, while Transport for London plans to install a bike docking station in Camden Square.
Knight Frank has submitted plans on behalf of Curlew Capital to redevelop Britannia Street car park, in Kings Cross, into student accommodation... featuring a community floorspace at ground level.
A total of 61 applications were submitted to the council's planning department between February 3 and February 9, including standard home extensions and cutting down trees.
Transport for London (TfL) hopes to install a new Santander bike docking station and terminal opposite Agar Grove Estate in Camden Square.
This project aims to support local Higher Education Institutions...according to the design and access statement drawn up by Sheppard Robson.
