Two men charged over burning Quran in London

Hamit Coskun has been charged with a religiously aggravated public order offence after a video surfaced showing him burning a Quran near the Turkish consulate in west London. The act, which occurred in Rutland Gardens, Knightsbridge, has led to public outcry. Coskun, 50, is currently in custody and is scheduled to appear in Westminster Magistrates' Court. In a separate but related case, Moussa Kadri, 59, faces charges of causing actual bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon, also set for court on March 17.
