The London Fire Brigade responded to a significant fire incident in Ilford, deploying eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters to manage the situation effectively.
Station Cmdr Darren McTernan remarked on the fire's intensity, stating that firefighters worked hard to control the blaze which fully engulfed the first floor and loft conversion.
