The Victoria Station Arcade, originally built in 1909-11, has been beautifully restored to its early 1900s appearance, enhancing the shopping experience above the busy station.
Transport for London has invested £1.5m in restoring the arcade to replicate its original Edwardian architecture, including heritage mouldings, stonework, and sympathetic shopfronts.
The project not only reinstates the arcade's historical features but also revives its importance as a bustling retail space at a key transport interchange.
The restoration features period-style lighting and a color scheme reflecting the District line's Victorian livery, completing the arcade's transformation back to its former glory.
