All the London restaurants that have won (and lost) Michelin stars for 2025
Briefly

The Michelin Guide 2025 ceremony, held on February 10 in Glasgow, saw ten London restaurants awarded their first Michelin star, with Plates noted as the first vegan establishment in the UK to receive this honor. Run by siblings Kirk and Keeley Haworth, Plates opened in Shoreditch last summer and was recognized for its culinary excellence. Other notable winners included restaurants like Oma and AngloThai. While two existing stars were upgraded to two stars, some establishments lost their Michelin status, highlighting the competitive nature of the culinary scene in London.
Earning a Michelin star is such an incredible honour and a lifetime goal since I was a young boy. To be the first in the plant-based sphere in the UK to win this prestigious award makes me unbelievably proud.
