Michelin-starred chef teams up with Shake Shack for time-limited special menu

On July 11, Shake Shack in Covent Garden will offer a special limited-time menu featuring the AngloThai burger and laab spiced fries crafted by Chef John Chantarasak. The burger contains an Aberdeen Angus beef patty infused with red curry paste, ox tongue, and various toppings. Laab spiced fries will complement the burger. Proceeds from the sales will benefit Grow, a Barnet food charity. This collaboration promotes local community support and aligns with Shake Shack's 'Stand for Something Good' initiative.
The AngloThai burger includes an Aberdeen Angus beef patty, fried in red curry paste, topped with ox tongue, wild garlic, green olive puree, som tam-infused pickles, and served on a potato bun.
Proceeds from the one-day menu will be donated to Grow, a Barnet-based food charity, supporting local communities through the 'Stand for Something Good' initiative.
Jim Frisch, Shake Shack's culinary director, expressed excitement about collaborating with John, emphasizing the innovative flavors being showcased to UK fans.
The fries are seasoned with an AngloThai spice blend and topped with fermented yellow soybean mayonnaise and wild garlic sweet chilli relish.
