Trinity, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Clapham, is set to unveil a new venture called Outside by Trinity on May 23, 2025. This initiative, led by chef India, will feature a sandwich truck serving a variety of ciabatta sandwiches with unique fillings, alongside fries, soft serve ice cream, and a selection of drinks including Trinity's own beers. Chef-proprietor Adam Byatt aims to create a fun, accessible dining experience while pushing the boundaries of traditional fine dining. The move reflects London's thriving sandwich scene and seeks to provide something innovative in casual cuisine.
Adam Byatt stated, 'We wanted to do something disruptive and of the moment with the space this year. An opportunity for my brilliant team to develop an idea they had.'
The outdoor space will become home to Outside by Trinity, a sandwich truck headed up by Trinity chef India, serving five unique ciabatta sandwiches.
Byatt expressed excitement for the concept, saying, 'this is different and out of our comfort zone - just where I want us to be!'
As London’s sandwich scene flourishes, it will be intriguing to see how these Michelin-starred sarnies compete against the city's diverse offerings.
