June bank holiday in Kilkenny: From a comedy festival to live music - there's lots to do and see
Kilkenny offers family activities for the June bank holiday weekend, with plans needed soon. Kilkenny Cat Laughs Comedy Festival 2026 runs from Friday, May 29 to Monday, June 1 and features 42 comedians, with tickets available online. Live music is scheduled at Smithwick’s Barrel Yard at the Smithwick’s Experience in Kilkenny City on Saturday and Sunday, including Oracle Villa on Saturday at 5pm and Tony Cleere on Sunday at 4pm. Springsteen - A Tribute performs at the Watergate Theatre on Sunday, May 31 at 8pm, with tickets starting at €32.
