Clare County Council Cllr Paul Murphy is urging members of the public to exercise caution on the roads and around water and fire this June Bank Holiday weekend as part of the Amber Thursday initiative.
June Fest 2026 Running from Friday, May 29 until Saturday, June 7 in Newbridge in Co Kildare is June Fest 2026. The festival has a staggering 40 community events on offer, including music, dance, exhibitions, history, crafts, talks, workshops and much more. Festival highlights include the Newbridge Festival of Dance in Newbridge Town Hall on Saturday, May 30; Picnic in the Park at the Liffey Linear Park and a night of live music at Market Square on Sunday, May 31 and a family fun day on bank holiday Monday, June 1, on the Main Street in Newbridge with Comic Con in the Town Hall.
