On April 12, a suspected bomb was reported at Bromley Police Station, causing an immediate emergency response. The alert was raised around 6:15 PM when a member of the public presented what they believed to be an unexploded device. Police established a safety cordon and summoned specialist teams to evaluate the situation. About an hour later, the item was assessed as non-threatening, leading to the removal of the cordon by 7:15 PM. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the station returned to normal operations shortly thereafter.
A member of the public reported a suspected unexploded ordnance in Bromley Police Station at Saturday, 12 April at 18:16hrs. A precautionary safety cordon was put in place.
Officers quickly put a cordon in place and called in specialist teams to assess the item. It was confirmed just under an hour later that the object was not dangerous.
