
A football remembrance day will take place at People’s Park in Bray on Saturday, May 30, starting at 12.30pm, featuring Shamrock Bhoys versus the Garden County and Shankill versus St Peter’s. Proceeds will support the care of local hero Mark Carrick. An art exhibition by Zoë Dillon titled SKINFLUENCED runs at Signal Arts Centre in Bray until Sunday, June 7, focusing on “Sephora Kids” and social media-driven consumerism. A movie night at Mermaid Arts Centre on Monday, June 1 at 8pm screens Is This Thing On? Tickets cost €12. Blessings of the graves occur at St Anne’s Church, Shankill at 2pm on Sunday, May 31, with a further blessing at Shanganagh Cemetery at 3.30pm. Music nights include weekly gigs with El Troubadours and Celtic Grace Hooley Nights. Poetry Day in Greystones features Poems From The Heart at The Whale on Thursday, June 4 at 8pm.
