A serious stabbing incident occurred in Birmingham on Tuesday around midday when a man stabbed another man in the street near Bridge Road, Alum Rock. A 32-year-old suspect was arrested and remains in police custody. A woman also sustained injuries, though not life-threatening. A nearby school was placed in lockdown following the incident. Emergency services deployed three ambulances, two paramedic officers, a trauma team, and an air ambulance to the scene. The seriously injured man received advanced life support treatment.
