Large fire breaks out at electricity substation

The blaze began at around 05:30 BST on Aberdeen Place, affecting an electrical transformer and a neighboring building's roof. More than 100 firefighters are tackling the blaze on Aberdeen Place, near to Edgware Road, where an electrical transformer and the roof of a neighbouring building have caught alight.
London Fire Brigade (LFB) said it was called to the substation at about 05:30 BST and had received more than 160 calls about the 'very visible' fire.
The cause of the fire is not currently known. There have been no reports of any injuries, although LFB has advised local residents to keep their doors and windows closed.
There have been no reports of any disruption to the electricity supply in the area.
