A Croydon homeowner, Brett Kemp, has reported that the installation of a bus driver toilet by Transport for London (TfL) outside his property has resulted in a £100,000 drop in his house value. This so-called temporary toilet, humorously called "The Turdis" by Kemp, has created significant issues with unpleasant odors. Despite TfL's assurances that the toilet was an interim measure, its continued presence since July has prompted ongoing frustrations for the homeowner as relocation plans remain unfinalized.
A Croydon homeowner has claimed his house price has 'fallen by 100,000' due to Transport for London installing a toilet for its bus drivers outside his property.
Mr. Kemp described the "stink" from the toilet - which he has dubbed "The Turdis" - as "awful."
TfL stated that relocation plans for the toilet were still "being finalised."
Despite being marked as a 'temporary facility,' the toilet has remained outside Mr. Kemp's home since July.
