Romford train station is scheduled to receive a new litter bin alongside an interactive cigarette ballot bin, as confirmed by council leader Ray Morgon during a council meeting. This installation, part of a replacement program, is set to be completed by the end of April. The interactive ballot bin invites smokers to vote on topical questions by disposing of their cigarette butts in preferred options, a concept designed to enhance engagement and promote responsible waste disposal.
Cllr Morgon confirmed that a litter bin and an interactive cigarette ballot bin are set to be installed at Romford station by the end of April.
