Youth Demand say they will press on with 'disruptive' action in London after pro-Palestine rally
Briefly

Youth Demand, a campaign group advocating for the Palestinian cause, is set to proceed with a series of disruptive protests over the next month. Following arrests at a Quaker meeting, members criticized the government's efforts to suppress their movement. Spokesperson Arthur, aged 24, expressed outrage at the police's actions and stressed the necessity of disruptive actions for effective activism. The group aims to unite various protest movements by showing solidarity and continues to rally support in light of police criticism and treatment of demonstrators, emphasizing resilience amidst adversity.
"It's shocking, it's unbelievable, but it's also not surprising," he told The Standard. What we are trying to show here is solidarity, against a government that is desperately trying to shut us down.
According to Arthur, the demonstration was to show solidarity for protesters from different groups that he claimed had been treated inappropriately by police.
We would have to wait and find out, adding that he believed disruptive action was totally necessary to get the groups message across.
I'm not okay I panic when I hear police sirens. My cell was freezing, they traumatised a bunch of young women, we will be back, they can never take away our voices.
