The analysis found that only 27% of SMEs are currently concerned about staff retention, a significant improvement pointing to confidence and recovery in workforce stability.
However, challenges in diversity remain, as the proportion of female-led SMEs with employees has decreased from 18% in 2022 to 15% in 2023.
