Angeles National Forest is reopening trails and campsites in time for spring break. Here's where.
Briefly

The U.S. Forest Service has announced the reopening of several trails and campgrounds in the Angeles National Forest that were closed due to severe fire damage earlier this year. Around 17% of the 700,000-acre forest experienced closures following the Eaton fire in January and the Bridge fire in September. Notable reopenings include the Chantry Flat Recreation Area and the entirety of the Gabrielino National Recreation Trail, although numerous roads and other areas will remain closed until year-end due to the ongoing repair process.
As efforts to restore the Angeles National Forest continue, the U.S. Forest Service has announced the reopening of several popular trails and campgrounds for visitors.
While many areas of the Angeles National Forest are now accessible, certain roads and trails remain closed due to ongoing repairs and safety concerns.
