As of Tuesday morning, the containment levels for the fires showed improvement, with the Palisades fire at 17% containment and the Eaton fire rising to 35%, although concerns remained due to the forecasted Santa Ana winds.
The impacts of the Eaton and Palisades fires are devastating, with an estimated 7,000 structures damaged or destroyed by the Eaton fire alone and evacuation orders affecting around 92,000 residents.
