Ortiz was armed with an AR-15 style weapon and has prior arrests in Florida including careless driving and domestic violence charges. She was a licensed speech pathologist. Rihanna was home during the incident but sustained no injuries. Neighbors reported hearing the loud gunshots echoing through the canyon.
