In 10 games last season, Higbee recorded 25 receptions for 281 yards and three touchdowns despite ankle injuries limiting him to eight starts. Drafted by the Rams in 2016, Higbee has accumulated 386 catches for 3,949 yards and 27 touchdowns across 138 games. He served as a secondary receiving threat alongside Puka Nacua and Davante Adams. The deal comes as the Rams prepare for free agency and pursue a trade for Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie.
