Blue Jays, star slugger Guerrero avoid arbitration with 1-year contract | CBC Sports
Briefly

The Toronto Blue Jays have successfully negotiated one-year contracts with all seven of their arbitration-eligible players, including star slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. at $28.5 million US.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. had an impressive season, achieving a batting average of .323, hitting 30 home runs, along with 103 RBIs, and securing his fourth all-star selection.
Despite the Blue Jays' struggle in the last season, finishing last in the AL East, Guerrero has solidified his position as the franchise's key player heading into 2025.
Last season, Guerrero was awarded $19.9 million after an arbitration decision favored his claim over the team's lower offer of $18.05 million.
