Poll: Who's Winning The Offseason In The AL West?
Briefly

As February unfolds, MLB teams are finalizing preparations for the 2025 season. The Astros are at the center of attention after trading star outfielder Kyle Tucker in a bold move to reshape their roster. Despite remaining competitive, Houston's dominance in the AL West is waning, while the Rangers hold the title of World Series champions. With teams in the AL West eager to improve, analysis of their offseason acquisitions will determine which club is best positioned for success in 2024.
The most notable move this winter was to ship star outfielder Kyle Tucker to Chicago ahead of his final season under team control. Losing a player of Tucker's caliber is always a brutal blow, but Houston did fairly well in the trade.
Despite the Astros' division title, the Rangers were the ones to be crowned World Series champions. In 2024, Houston's long reign over the division started showing signs of cracks as they struggled out of the gate.
Houston did fairly well in the trade, managing to bring in All-Star third baseman Isaac Paredes and bolster their rotation depth with right-hander Hayden Wesneski.
After the Mets, Cubs, and Dodgers have decisively won the polls covering the National League's three divisions, the focus now shifts to the American League starting with the AL West.
