Julio Rodriguez became the first player in major league history to achieve 20 or more home runs and 20 or more stolen bases in each of his first four seasons during a game against the Texas Rangers. Rodriguez's two-run homer was his 100th career home run, accompanied by his 21st stolen base of the season. Jorge Polanco and J.P. Crawford also contributed with solo and two-run home runs respectively. Despite a close game, the Mariners bullpen allowed only one run, securing the game with closer Andrés Muñoz's 25th save of the season.
