The Yankees and Ticketmaster have restricted ticket sales for certain playoff games to residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania, verifying residency by credit card billing address. The restriction applies to potential ALDS games three and four and is also in effect for the Yankees-Red Sox Wild Card Series, preventing Red Sox fans from buying tickets in New York.
