An alleged Ticketmaster typo had fans boiling after an upcoming Olivia Dean concert at Boston's TD Garden was priced more than 14 times the actual ticket cost. Ticketmaster has since apologized and handed out refunds after the typo inflated the ticket price from $53 to $753, according to a USA Today report. A concertgoer shared screenshots of the sky-high-priced tickets along with a view of the lengthy queue, which had them at number 24,161 in line.

Sales to this event will be restricted to residents of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania. Residency will be based on credit card billing address. Orders by residents outside New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania will be canceled without notice and refunds given."
Between November 1, 2022, and December 30, 2023, a group of three individuals allegedly used a network of websites to purchase over 379,776 tickets from Ticketmaster, spending $57 million. They resold those tickets for nearly $64 million.
You were right to try to resolve the issue on your own and document your communications with the company. You paid a premium price for your tickets, so a refund for the inconvenience you experienced would have been completely justified.
