Ruben Amorim, Manchester United's manager, emphasized that qualifying for the Champions League is paramount, even over winning the Europa League final against Tottenham. Though both teams have had challenging Premier League campaigns, Amorim believes that success in the Europa League will not suffice for a club of United's stature. He pointed out that they are currently the only unbeaten team in major European competitions this season. With a chance to secure a major trophy in the final, the importance of transitioning to Champions League football is clear for the club's future aspirations.
Personally for me, Champions League is more important, for everything, to prepare the next season. We are supposed to be in the Champions League.
A final is different. This season has been really difficult on everyone; the results and also the change in the staff and you can feel it in our club.
