In a surprising revelation, it has come to light that DVDs manufactured by Warner Bros. between 2006 and 2008 are suffering from disc rot, rendering them unplayable. This issue was uncovered when a movie enthusiast, Chris Bumbray, experienced playback problems and found that many others had similar complaints. Warner Bros. has acknowledged the problem and is working to replace defective discs with the same title when possible. However, if a title is no longer available, customers will receive a similar value replacement.
