Boots pharmacy at Kingston Hospital reopens after refurb to cut wait times
Briefly

The recent redesign and refurbishment of the Boots pharmacy at Kingston Hospital has markedly enhanced the service for over 1,500 weekly patients. Key upgrades include a new dispensary layout that amplified service points from two to five, thus streamlining patient flow and reducing congestion in hospital corridors. This has led to shorter waiting times, improved staff morale, and a better working environment for employees. Positive patient feedback has highlighted quick diagnoses and medication service, reinforcing the pharmacy's role in enhancing patient care and experience.
It has been a real boost to staff morale. Since the refurbishment we continually hit our prescription waiting time targets of 15 minutes and the working environment is so much better.
We are thrilled by the pharmacy redesign and the major difference it has made to our patients and the Boots team, reducing our patient waiting times, and improving patient care, as well as staff wellbeing.
