Doctors Without Borders ambulance in Haiti ambushed and two patients killed
Briefly

"The act is a shocking display of violence and it seriously calls into question MSF's ability to continue delivering essential care to the Haitian people," said Christophe Garnier, MSF's head of mission.
MSF reported that its staff members were violently attacked and held against their will for more than four hours before being allowed to leave the scene.
The MSF ambulance, which was attacked while transporting gunshot victims, was severely damaged and put out of service due to slashed tires and violent confrontations.
This event is emblematic of the deepening crisis in Haiti, where violence among gangs and law enforcement continues to threaten humanitarian efforts.
