Two patients with suspected Ebola infection were transported from an urgent care facility in Manhattan to Bellevue Hospital for testing. They were exhibiting symptoms consistent with Ebola and had recently traveled from Uganda. First responders were seen in hazmat suits during the transportation process, reflecting the seriousness of the potential health threat. Ebola symptoms can be severe, including fever, vomiting, and bleeding, and are spread through contact with infected bodily fluids.
