Morgan Geyser's potential release from a mental health facility may not happen as planned. After a judge ordered a supervised release plan for her, new allegations emerged from the facility suggesting she sent violent artwork to a man. Although her lawyer disputes the claims, a new hearing to discuss the revocation of her release is scheduled. Geyser, who gained notoriety for her involvement in the Slender Man stabbing case at age 12, was found mentally ill at sentencing, receiving a 40-year commitment in a psychiatric institution, unlike her co-assailant Anissa Weier, who was released earlier.
The judge had ordered a plan for Morgan Geyser’s supervised release within 60 days, but a new hearing is set due to allegations of inappropriate behavior from the facility.
Geyser, now 22, was only 12 during the infamous Slender Man stabbing case that shocked the nation, resulting in a conviction but also a mental disease ruling.
