A cold and 'dreary' week is in store for South Florida as winter presses on

Although scattered showers are likely until Wednesday, later in the week will bring drier conditions. Another cold front is anticipated by midweek, pushing temperatures down to the upper 60s and low 70s during the day and possibly dropping to the mid-40s overnight in some areas. Overcast skies are expected to persist, and meteorologists anticipate more cold fronts throughout the remaining winter months.

Another cold front is then expected to make its way through South Florida on Wednesday, which will drop high temperatures to the upper 60s and low 70s with lows in the 50s.

Cloud coverage will allow for mild high temperatures, with many locations struggling to reach 70 degrees.
