A teen girl was found dead in a home yard, and her boyfriend is in jail: Miami-Dade cops
Briefly

Authorities in Miami-Dade are investigating the murder of a 17-year-old girl, Janise Barthold, allegedly choked to death by her 20-year-old boyfriend, Dominique Domond. Following a call regarding an unconscious individual, deputies arrived at Domond's home and discovered Barthold's body in the backyard. Initially, Domond provided various explanations for her death, but ultimately confessed to the murder during questioning. He faces charges of second-degree murder and remains in custody with bond pending.
According to the person identified as Ms. Domond, Dominique Domond and Barthold had been arguing when he pushed her out of the house through the back door.
Dominique Domond led them to the body of 17-year-old Janise Barthold, who was pronounced dead by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue at 9:25 p.m.
Investigators say he gave inconsistent and conflicting statements before eventually admitting that he and Barthold had been fighting and that he choked her to death.
The defendant then picked up the victim's lifeless body and disposed of it by throwing it in the rear yard of the residence.
