The site of The Wharf Miami, which closed in August 2023, is being transformed into Riverside Wharf Miami, a $300 million waterfront development. The project, spearheaded by founders Alex Mantecon and Emi Guerra, includes a 167-room Hyatt-owned hotel named The Dream, a nightclub, and an expansion of the iconic Garcia's restaurant. After over a decade of planning and public approvals, ground is set to be broken by summer 2024, with projections for the project’s completion by the end of 2027.
