Luis Guillermo Alvarez, 55, was arrested for his involvement in a homicide on May 24, 2025, where 54-year-old Christopher Shannon Allen was shot. Witnesses identified Alvarez as he kicked Allen while he lay on the ground and struck him with a brick after he was shot. Jaylen Lavar Fisher, 19, had already been charged with second-degree murder for shooting Allen. Alvarez was found with a handgun and drug pipe when arrested riding a bicycle in traffic. He was booked for second-degree murder and remains in custody pending bond.
